Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard / Care Warden (SIA Licensed) to oversee premises during the night shift. This role is essential in maintaining a safe environment, preventing loss, and ensuring the security of staff, visitors, and property. The successful candidate will possess a valid SIA licence and be committed to safeguarding assets through proactive surveillance and incident management. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic security team dedicated to high standards of safety and care.

Responsibilities
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for unauthorised access or suspicious activity.
• Operate CCTV systems effectively to observe and record activities across the site.
• Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential security breaches or theft risks.
• Maintain vigilant surveillance of entry and exit points, ensuring only authorised personnel gain access.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing appropriate action or escalation as necessary.
• Assist with visitor management, including signing in visitors and issuing temporary passes.
• Provide first aid assistance when required, following health and safety protocols.
• Complete detailed incident reports accurately and promptly, documenting any irregularities or incidents observed during shifts.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service at all times.

Skills
• Valid SIA licence with night shift experience preferred.
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security procedures.
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations; first aid certification is advantageous.
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
