About the role

Are you a reliable and experienced driver with a passion for the automotive industry? Carteam is currently looking for Trade Plate Drivers to join our growing team as we expand our brand into the Birmingham area to meet increasing demand. As a Trade Plate Driver, you’ll play a key role in safely and efficiently delivering vehicles to locations across the UK.
• Vehicle Transportation: Safely and responsibly drive a variety of vehicles, including cars and commercial vehicles, to and from designated locations.
• Trade Plate Handling: Ensure proper handling and display of trade plates, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Documentation: Complete accurate and timely documentation, including vehicle condition reports, mileage records, and other necessary information of dedicated apps.
• Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with the dispatch team, providing updates on deliveries, pickups, and any issues encountered during transportation.
• Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to identify and report any damages or maintenance needs.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, the vehicles, and others on the road.

You must:
• Driver's License: Possess a valid and clean driver's license with a demonstrated safe driving record.
• Experience: Proven experience as a professional driver – must be over 25 years of age
• Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility in meeting delivery deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in completing accurate documentation and vehicle condition reports.

What we offer:
• All public transport expenses are covered.
• Regular work 5 days a week.
• Saturday work optional.
• Pay is weekly in arrears (SELF EMPLOYED). All expenses including fuel, travel and any other approved expense paid back every 24 hours.

• Trade Plates and fully comprehensive insurance.
