Job Description
Purpose of the Role

To clean the areas with the demise to a high standard and be able to work on your own Initiative

Key Responsibilities

· Ability to work on your own in the cleaning tasks as inducted and trained upon.

· Understanding the H&S requirements to ensure you and others entering your work area are safe at all times.

· Timekeeping the hours are fixed and cannot be adjusted.

· To undertake cleaning duties in areas as directed by the Site

· To report maintenance issues immediately, e.g. broken equipment, defective lighting any H&S issues

· To be inform the Site Manager or any ordering and maintaining cleaning equipment stock.

· To clean and maintain communal areas within the site, including cleaning surfaces and vacuming and dusting of surfaces, external area sweeping and mopping as required

· To have an understanding and comply with all COSHH regulations.

· To work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

· To attend training courses as identified and agreed for appropriate development.

This is not intended to be a complete and full list of responsibilities other tasks may be required from time to time.

· To collect all waste and take to the designated waste storage area.

· To use the ride on sweeper (training provided) to ensure the external areas are clean.

· To use the pressure washer and other equipment to keep the external areas clean.

· To litter pick to ensure that the external areas are clean for users and visitors alike.

· To use the ‘Leaf blower’ as required.

· To assist in any other cleaning task that may be required and work with the other cleaning team and understand that the role whilst waste and externals may be at times internal tasks as directed

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.

Working Hours - 10 hrs per week, 2 per day, Monday to Friday

Salary - £14.80/hr
