Welder Fabricator

£15-£17.50 per hour

Full-time - Days

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings to produce high-quality work with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel components.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts from engineering drawings.
Operate fabrication machinery, including saws, presses, and grinders.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials for production.
Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet required standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator in a workshop or production environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
Competent in using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
