As per HM Revenue and Customs, cleaning staff pay no Income Tax on earnings up to the £12,570 personal allowance in 2026/27. The basic rate of 20% applies on income from £12,571 to £50,270 with Class 1 National Insurance at 8% above £12,570. Employers deduct via PAYE and submit monthly RTI reports.
Q Can non-UK nationals obtain visas for cleaning staff jobs in the United Kingdom in 2026?
