We are currently hiring MIG Welders for one of our clients a leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of loading dock systems and material handling equipment.

Our client is located at Derry and Kennedy area of Mississauga.

Day Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM

Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour

MIG Welder

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
β€’ Weld and assemble parts
β€’ MUST be able to – Transition between benches on Dock Line and keep up with Tack Times, Fabricate a Dock leveler with all correct componenst, determine differences between all Dock capacities and models (Mechanical MA, MU, HA, HU series)
β€’ Read and understand work orders (specifications), Read blueprints to determine each weld for units with little guidance
β€’ Ensure minimum and maximum output quantities are met
β€’ Use gauges, Mig-welding equipment, jigs and fixates, grinders and measuring tools
β€’ Set machines for different types of materials and varying thickness
β€’ Ensure basic regular lubrication and maintenance of machines
β€’ Test and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with work orders when necessary
β€’ Follow all health and safety company rules
β€’ Must have welding certificate
β€’ Comfortable working in a hot environment
β€’ Lift up to 25lb as required
