Safely operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools will be a core part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities: Assist experienced welders in various welding projects. Learn and apply different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick). Perform basic welding tasks under supervision. Ensure quality of work meets specified standards. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Participate actively in apprenticeship training sessions and coursework. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest in welding. Strong desire to learn and develop skills in a trade. Good physical condition, stamina, and manual dexterity. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team. Basic understanding of shop safety practices. Eagerness to pursue trade certification. Previous exposure to metal fabrication or shop environments is a plus. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
