• Mechanical equipment in commercial/industrial applications
• Interpret drawings, specs, and site conditions to determine labour, materials, and equipment requirements
• Identify risks such as access, shutdowns, tie-ins, and unknown conditions
• Work with office team to issue quotes through CRM (Jobber or similar)
• Assist in improving pricing accuracy, margins, and close rates

What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years experience in plumbing and/or mechanical estimating
• Strong understanding of:
• Residential & commercial plumbing systems
• Commercial HVAC/mechanical systems
• Proven ability to perform mechanical takeoffs from drawings
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and site conditions
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on profitability and risk management

• Familiarity with takeoff software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.)
• Experience working with property managers, GCs, or facilities teams

Compensation
• Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
• Performance-based incentives tied to closed work and profitability
• Flexible schedule (ideal for experienced estimators or semi-retired professionals)

Why Join Us

• Opportunity to work on both service and project-based estimating
