Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional – Access Control (Part-Time) in Mississauga, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Professional – Access Control (Part-Time)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shifts: Saturday & Sunday

Schedule: 1800 - 0600

Overview :

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Professional – Access Control (Part-Time) to join our team at a Warehouse site. This position involves providing security, Access Control and monitoring services 24/7 with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols of the warehouse, surrounding areas, and construction site to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via a radio with the site control guard and other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to warehouse materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties: Ensure the overall safety and security of the warehouse and construction areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years of experience working in mobile security
• Customer Service & Great Communication skill is an asset
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
