Job Description
As a security guard, you will play a key role in the protection of property and people at LaSalle College. You will also be responsible for welcoming students and visitors, while ensuring a safe and professional environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Security
• Ensure the safety of the premises and people attending the College;
• Carry out preventive security rounds;
• Ensuring fire prevention;
• Applying protocols in emergency measures;
• Responding to incidents;
• Acting as a First Aid Attendant in the Workplace;
• Ensure that the institution's rules are applied;
• Operate security systems (access control, cameras, alarms, fire panel);
• Issuing access cards.

Customer Service and Support
• Welcoming students and meeting their information needs;
• Providing quality customer service;
• Write reports (incidents, first aid);
• Maintain various records;
• Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
• Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;
• Valid security permit issued by the BSP;
• Recognized Security Guard Training (mandatory);
• Valid Workplace First Aid Certificate (CNESST 16 hours / AED);
• Bilingualism (French and English);
• Flexibility and availability when needed (24/7);
• Professional presentation and excellent customer service;
• Fluency with computers.

This role involves interacting with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
