Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced driver guide to join our team. Northbound tours offers day trips and over night trips to customers looking to explore Ontario's local nature.

We're looking for individuals with experience leading groups. We value a strong personality that knows how to have fun. Having fun is at the core of what we do, while understanding responsibility. If you know the outdoors and you'd like to be on our roster of staff we reach out to for gigs. We'd like to hear from you. We have weekly departures to Algonquin park, camping trips to Bruce Peninsula and camping trips to Sleeping Giant round the corner.

Our customers are mainly 20-40 year olds, but we don't exclude any ages who want to participate.

Duties
• Lead groups to places in Ontario (Algonquin Park, Bruce Peninsula, Killbear, Niagara Falls etc).
• Punctuality is a non negotiable.
• Deliver safety, plan, and fun information to participants to help them enjoy their days out.
• Follow all safety guidelines, monitoring conditions such as weather, group ability, and more.
• An awareness of risk assessment and the ability to communicate appropriately with channels in any event.
• Understand group dynamics and adapt to the nuances of each individual to facilitate an enjoyable experience.
• Adherence to all regulations regarding commercial driving (log books, asset inspections etc)

Qualifications & Mandatory
• Previous driver guiding experience needed.
• An F license as a minimum is required for commercial operations.
• WAFA/WFR.
• Right to work in Canada.

Desired
• Availability on weekends.
• Knowledge of the areas we visit.
• Experience leading trips in a dual role capacity.
