Job Overview

The Mobile Automotive Detailer / Truck & Trailer Driver will be responsible for attending mobile detailing appointments across the GTA using company equipment, including a truck and enclosed trailer setup.

This team member must be comfortable driving, reversing, parking, setting up, operating, and securing a truck and trailer in residential, commercial, and fleet environments.

The successful candidate must also have automotive detailing experience and be capable of completing high-quality interior and exterior detailing services while maintaining the professionalism and presentation expected from Definitive! Automotive Detailing.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Safely driving the company truck and trailer to mobile detailing appointments
• Inspecting truck, trailer, equipment, water supply, chemicals, and tools before departure
• Loading, securing, and organizing mobile detailing equipment
• Arriving on time and prepared for scheduled mobile appointments
• Communicating professionally with clients upon arrival
• Completing interior and exterior automotive detailing services
• Performing vacuuming, steaming, shampooing, extraction, wiping, dressing, glass cleaning, mat cleaning, and final vehicle presentation
• Completing exterior washing, wheel cleaning, tire cleaning, drying, and protection services as required
• Taking clear before and after photos/videos of each job
• Reporting job progress, delays, concerns, or client requests to management
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization inside the truck and trailer
• Ensuring all tools, machines, hoses, cords, chemicals, and accessories are accounted for after every job
• Safely setting up and tearing down equipment at each mobile location
• Protecting client property, driveways, garages, and surrounding areas during mobile service
• Following all company detailing procedures, safety standards, and client experience protocols
• Representing the Definitive! brand professionally at every mobile appointment

Requirements
• Previous automotive detailing experience
• Previous experience driving a truck with trailer
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence
• Clean driving record
• Ability to provide a recent driver’s abstract before hiring
• Ability to provide a criminal record check before hiring
• Comfortable driving throughout the GTA
• Comfortable reversing, parking, and positioning a trailer safely
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Ability to lift, carry, organize, and operate detailing equipment
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop when required

Applicants without truck and trailer driving experience will not be considered for this position.

Experience Required

Automotive Detailing: 1 year minimum preferred
Truck & Trailer Driving: Required
Mobile Detailing Experience: Strong asset
Customer Service Experience: Strong asset

Pre-Hiring Requirements

Before hiring, selected candidates must provide:
• Valid driver’s licence
• Recent driver’s abstract
• Criminal record check
• References, if requested
• Confirmation of truck/trailer driving experience

Employment is conditional upon satisfactory review of driving record, background check, experience, and overall fit with company standards.

Schedule

This role will be mainly scheduled specifically for mobile detailing appointments, although, additional in-shop hours may be available if successful candidate has mobile hours cut short due to client cancellations, inclement weather, etc.

Scheduling will be based on client demand, candidate availability, reliability, and employee performance.

Compensation

Starting wage is based on experience, skill level, driving ability, availability, and overall fit.

Pay range: $18–$24 per hour
