Job Title: G Driver (Bilingual English & French)

Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional G Driver responsible for the safe and timely delivery of delayed baggage for airline passengers. This role requires

strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and adherence to all transportation, safety, and privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable regulations
• Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries from airport facilities to residences, hotels, or designated locations
• Verify baggage tags, delivery documentation, and passenger identification
• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate records
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and service updates
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and company standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly
• Handle baggage carefully to prevent damage
• Maintain confidentiality of passenger information
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Comply with airport security requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence - required
• Clean driving record (no infractions in the past 5 years) - required
• Eligible to work in Ontario, Canada - required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas
• Ability to work independently
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, GPS, and dispatch apps
• Fluent in English and French (spoken) - required
• Written bilingual proficiency - an asset
• Transport security clearance - an asset
• Previous delivery/courier experience - preferred
