Required Electrician / Plumber For Construction Field in Manama

As per the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the Minimum Recruitable Salary for plumbers is BHD 225 per month as of January 2026. This applies to third-country nationals applying for work visas sponsored by Bahraini employers. Salaries below this amount will not be approved for work permits.

Foreign plumbers require a work permit from LMRA, sponsored by a Bahraini employer, valid for 2 years at BHD 2,000 fee paid by sponsor as of 2026. Applicants must pass a medical fitness test costing BHD 20 and provide a valid passport with 6 months validity. The process takes 5-10 working days via LMRA portal.

LMRA requires at least 2 years of verifiable experience for plumber work permits as of 2026; no formal education certificate is mandatory but technical training proof strengthens applications. Bahraini nationals need no experience but must register with Tamkeen for training subsidies up to BHD 3,000. Unskilled laborers cannot apply for skilled plumber visas.

Required documents include passport copy, 4 passport photos, attested experience certificate, medical report, and sponsor's commercial registration as per LMRA guidelines for 2026.
