Salaries typically range from BHD 300 to BHD 450 depending on the employer and contract terms. Overtime pay is 1.25 times the hourly rate beyond 8 hours per day.

Foreign workers need sponsorship from a Bahrain-based employer who applies for a work permit via LMRA's Expat Management System, requiring a valid job offer with at least BHD 300 salary. Applicants must provide a passport valid for 6 months, medical fitness certificate, and police clearance. The visa is issued for 2 years, renewable upon contract extension.
Q What education or experience is required to qualify for cleaning staff jobs in Bahrain?

The employer submits passport copy, 4 passport photos, attested employment contract specifying BHD 300 minimum salary, medical report from approved clinic, and police good conduct certificate to LMRA.
