This is a great next step for a detailed Inventory Controller or experienced Logistics Store Officer looking for a career in Aviation. This role is based at Bankstown Airport, 8/6 roster, with rostered hours of 7am – 5pm.About The RoleAs an Aviation Logistics Stores Officer, you will manage the end‑to‑end logistics, stores, and materials support required to keep our fleet flying. Working closely with engineers, suppliers and operational teams, you’ll ensure aircraft parts are sourced, tracked, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently across multiple bases.Your work will help maximise aircraft availability and ensure compliance with CASA, Toll, and industry standards. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team operating within hangars, storerooms, and office environments, with occasional travel to bases as required.What You’ll Be Doing Coordinating the ordering, receiving, storing, and dispatching of aircraft parts and equipment Building strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of parts Recording and tracking inventory within the GANNET maintenance management system Maintaining correct segregation and documentation for aeronautical vs non‑aeronautical stores Managing stock levels, shelf-life items, and supporting annual stocktakes across bases Preparing and dispatching items in line with regulatory and Dangerous Goods requirements Supporting compliance with Toll HSSEQ standards, CASA regulations, and internal procedures Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and participating in base meetings/trainingWhat You’ll BringTechnical experience Experience in aviation stores, technical stores, or a regulated logistics environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural compliance Understanding of CASA requirements and aeronautical product control (or willingness to learn) Sound computer skills—Microsoft Office and SAP proficiency preferred Ability to identify and manage technical components used in aircraft maintenanceMore About You Strong communication and teamwork skills Integrity, accountability, and a safety‑first mindset Flexibility around operational requirements Ability to work in hangar environments, confined spaces and on platforms around aircraft Analytical mindset for accurate forecasting and stock controlQualifications & Licences Minimum 2 years’ experience in aviation or a similar regulated technical environment Knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations Australian Driver’s Licence Ability to obtain/hold an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) Eligible for NV1 Security ClearanceDesirable Certificate II in Aeroskills (or military equivalent) Dangerous Goods handling qualification Aircraft maintenance support experience Forklift licenceWhat moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
