THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.In This Role, You WillService and maintain equipment and vehiclesMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationConduct plant and equipment inspectionsAttend to breakdowns Work on Hydraulic systemsPerform basic automotive electrical worksAbout YouHighly established attention to Safe work practicesAustralian-recognised Trade Certificate with post-trade experienceExperience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skillsDemonstrated problem-solving skillsAbility to document and maintain traceability on all works undertakenExperience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment;Diesel EWP’S up to 135ft,Telehandlers,Buses,Tilt Tray’s,Excavator,Skid Steer Loader, Scissor Lifts,Light Trucks,Light VehiclesGenerators up to 132KVA The Successful Candidate Will HaveTrade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 MechanicalHigh-risk work License (with WP class) (desirable)Current Unrestricted Driver’s License White / Blue Construction Card About Phe Group & Phe MiningPHE Group is an electrical and instrumentation contractor with five specialist divisions and more than 50 years’ experience.
