DescriptionWe’re seeking for an experienced Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Dandenong on a Wednesday to Saturday day shift.The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to receive, stow, pick, pack or ship.Key Job Responsibilities Support and work in other departments as required, Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, Providing coverage for Area Managers, Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline), Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours, Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance, Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance, Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity, Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals, Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised, Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area, Coaching associates to work safely at all times Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager.Basic Qualifications Previous experience leading teams Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail) Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience directly managing others Comfortable in lifting up to 16 kilos, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvementAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
