Cleaning Staff

MOHRE requires employment contracts for cleaning staff (unskilled category) to specify at least AED 1,000 per month for work permit approval as of January 2026. Overtime pay is 125% of the basic hourly rate, calculated as total monthly salary divided by 208 hours. Salaries are protected under the Wage Protection System with payments due by the 15th of each month.

International applicants need an employer-sponsored work permit from MOHRE costing AED 250, valid for 2 years and renewable twice.
